About the ingredients
What's in a can of NYOD?
Green coffee bean extract, yerba mate extract, a prebiotic, a probiotic, L-theanine, antioxidants, calcium citrate, magnesium citrate, zinc citrate, vitamin B9, vitamin B12, sodium bicarbonate, an acidity regulator, a sweetener and RO water, plus natural flavouring and colouring. No added sugar, zero calories.
Where does the caffeine in NYOD come from?
Two plants: green coffee beans (unroasted coffee) and yerba mate, a South American herb traditionally brewed as a tea. We don't use synthetic caffeine.
How much caffeine is in one can?
Each 250 ml can contains 70-75mg of caffeine. For comparison, a regular cup of brewed coffee typically contains around 80–100 mg.
Is natural caffeine different from synthetic caffeine?
Chemically, caffeine is the same molecule whatever its source. What's different is everything that comes with it. Green coffee and yerba mate bring naturally occurring plant compounds, and in NYOD the caffeine is paired with L-theanine. We choose plant sources because we want to keep the ingredient list as close to nature as we can.
What is L-theanine and why is it in an energy drink?
L-theanine is an amino acid found naturally in tea leaves. It's often paired with caffeine because the combination is associated with calm, focused alertness rather than a jittery buzz. That steady, no-spike feeling is exactly what we designed NYOD for.
What are prebiotics and probiotics?
Probiotics are live beneficial bacteria. Prebiotics are the fibres those bacteria feed on. NYOD contains both: Bacillus subtilis + apprx 10x10⁹ per can and Chicory Inulin.
What sweetener does NYOD use?
NYOD is sweetened with sucralose, which is how we keep it at zero sugar and zero calories.
Does NYOD contain preservatives?
No. It doesn't contain any preservatices
What vitamins and minerals are in NYOD?
Vitamins B9 (folate) and B12, plus calcium, magnesium and zinc, and antioxidants.
Drinking NYOD
Is NYOD sugar-free?
Yes. Zero sugar and zero calories in every can.
Will I crash after drinking NYOD?
The classic energy-drink crash usually comes from a big hit of sugar combined with a big hit of caffeine. NYOD has no sugar, and the caffeine comes paired with L-theanine, so it's built for steady energy rather than a spike.
When is the best time to drink NYOD?
Most of our drinkers reach for it during the afternoon slump, before a workout, or as a swap for a second or third coffee. We'd suggest avoiding it in the evening if caffeine affects your sleep.
Can I drink NYOD every day?
For most healthy adults, one can a day fits comfortably within commonly recommended caffeine limits (up to around 400 mg a day for adults). Just count it alongside your other coffee and tea.
Can I drink NYOD on an empty stomach?
Many people do without any issues, but if you're sensitive to caffeine, having it with or after food may feel gentler.
Who shouldn't drink NYOD?
NYOD isn't recommended for children, pregnant or breastfeeding women, or anyone sensitive to caffeine. If you have a medical condition or take medication, check with your doctor first.
Is NYOD vegan?
Yes, NYOD is vegan.
How does NYOD compare to a regular energy drink?
Most mainstream energy drinks rely on sugar or artificial sweeteners and synthetic caffeine. NYOD has zero sugar, plant-based caffeine, L-theanine for focus, and pre + probiotics, which is something you won't find in most cans on the shelf.

Store in cool, dry place. Best enjoyed chilled.
What's the shelf life?
12 months from manufacture. The date is printed on every can.
